The necessity for the EXISTENCE of JUST is determined by the systemic oppression affecting every facet of our society. With every societal injustice, new and old, advocacy and action are an immediate necessity.
We believe in unifying our neighborhoods through education and policy. We believe in the collective inclusion that results from racial equity. We work towards racial and socioeconomic equity by dismantling the foundation of systemic racism that our systems are built on; we aim to rebuild said systems with racial equity at the forefront. We believe that the youth empowerment is the responsibility of everyone and through mentorship and opportunities, we can empower the next generation to be altruistic leaders.

Building Community ONE PROJECT AT A TIME.
JUST builds consciousness by interacting with the surrounding community and giving them the necessary resources to survive. We simply believe in meeting people where they are at.JUST began in 2020 with a group of four people using EBT cards to give out free food biweekly. We have been out on the West side every other Saturday –– proudly not having missed a single serve from the day we started. Since then, we have expanded to holding East side serves as well, along with now providing many other essential needs, such as clothing, books, hygiene items, and much more. The best part is that it's free and the perfect starting place for newcomers to join us in helping the community.
